If you haven't been to Mexico, you might not realize that the cuisine is a little different from what you've had in the past. Don't get us wrong—we love Taco Bell and Chipotle, but there's a world of delicious Mexican food out there that can be hard to find. We think we've found one of the best Mexican restaurants in Yas Island Abu Dhabi, and we're dying to tell you about it!

Casa de las Sirenas is located in Yas Viceroy Hotel. It's a bright and lively space with lots of colorful decor and art—it doesn't feel like your typical Mexican restaurant at all. Their menu has lots of options, and they even have vegan options available if you're looking for something lighter or healthier. The prices are also really reasonable; most meals cost no more than 40-50 AED, which is less than $13 USD!

They're famous for their tacos (who isn't?), so we recommend starting with four tacos for two people so that you can try as many varieties as possible. The fish taco is an absolute must; it comes with pickled onions and cabbage topped with black bean sauce. If seafood isn't your thing, their pork belly taco is also delicious.
